Position: Production Artist
Canyon Graphics in San Diego’s Sorrento Mesa area has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, detail oriented and energetic Production Artist. Canyon Graphics is a specialty printing and fabrication company supporting the telecom, high tech, electronics and medical industries. Job Requirements
• An advanced working knowledge of Corel,
Illustrator, QuarkXPress & Photo Shop
• Excellent communication and problem
solving skills
• Experience producing art and films for label applications is preferred
• Experience operating a HP Indigo WS2000
is a plus
Job Responsibilities
• Creating artwork per detailed specifications
• Pre-flighting files
• Trapping and color separations for screen printing, flexographic printing and
digital printing
• Follow work instructions for line weights, separations, registration, and other printing process specific requirements.
• Follow departmental procedures in the handling of film, saving and archiving of files
